Having a hectic schedule feels like there’s no more time for healthy eating. You find it hassle to think what food to have for snacks in between work. It is probably tempting to go the quick and easy way to prepare food such as cup of instant noodles, fries, burger and chips. Because of instant foods yummy taste, it replaces your proper healthy meals.
But even how busy you are, it is still possible to treat yourself to a healthy snack because it is important to eat healthy foods to give you fuel for you to keep going.

Below is a serving of healthy snack I had this morning.

It took me less than 10 minutes to prepare this snack. I used two banana and one mango fruit which I sliced into pieces then 3 table spoon of homemade yogurt. I set them aside in a dish then put it inside the refrigerator and let it cool for about 30 minutes. It was really good that even I almost finished my snack I didn’t feel bloated. It was a combination of fruits and yogurt that is rich in fiber, a definite aid for digestion and contributes to a healthy skin. After eating this snack, you will also feel happy because of the slices of bananas that have high levels of tryptophan, which is converted into serotonin, the happy- mood brain neurotransmitter.

If you want to make a homemade yogurt, you just need powdered milk, a hot water, a container and a mother yogurt which you can buy in any supermarket but I suggest you pick the unflavored one. Put a 4 to 5 table spoon of powdered milk in a hot water then add 2 to 3 table spoon of mother yogurt and place them in a closed container. Let it stay for at least 6 hours then you may have great snack with your delicious yogurt smoothies.

So why go for instant food where in fact you can make your own healthy snack. Grab this quick to make healthy recipe and savor the goodness it offers!

Enjoy your snack J

  5. I must try that! I usually make the banana-strawberry-low fat yoghurt combo plus drizzle of honey. It's usually my lunch smoothie so I don't overeat. Hahaha...
